On work days I wear very minimal makeup, and I rarely, if ever, change up my look. I just don’t have time to fuss over much makeup or even think about it at all. That’s why I keep things super simple. I wear this foundation, this cream blush, the concealer I can’t live without, mascara and a bold(ish) lipstick. That’s it.
When I actually have somewhere to go — outside of daycare drop off and the office — I like to step up my makeup game. So for the few holiday parties I have left to attend, I’ll be wearing this look created by Bobbi Brown Pro Artist Tanya Cropsey. It’s not over-the-top at all, but it’s a heck of a lot more interesting and dazzling than my go-to look. I especially love this lip color and may have to make it my staple.
After perfecting your skin with foundation and concealer …
- Lightly dust Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder across your forehead, nose, cheeks and decollate.
- Sweep Bobbi Brown Nude Pink Blush on the apples of your cheeks, and dust Bobbi Brown Nectar Shimmer Brick over top for a “lit-from-within glow”.
- Brush through your brows to tame them.
- Create a smoky nude eye by layering Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow in Bark, Sand Dune and Golden Pink. Then dab Bobbi Brown Cement Sparkle Shadow over top. Define your lash lines with Bobbi Brown Pitch Black Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner and finish with a coat of Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara.
