Pair retro ’60s with a laid back California coastal vibe and you get the covetable makeup look seen at Nanette Lepore’s Spring/Summer 2015 fashion show. This fresh-faced yet fashion forward look is a little over-the-top for day but with a few subtle tweaks, I think I made it suitable enough for everyday. Here’s how I got the look:
Step 1: I perfected my skin with Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation, $37 and the concealer I can’t function without.
Step 2: I added warmth to my skin with Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Compact, $36.
Step 3: To prep my lids for eyeliner, I dusted them with a flesh-colored powder eyeshadow (Jouer Powder Eyeshadow in Praline, $20).
Step 4: I thickly lined my top and bottom lashlines with white eyeliner (MAC Eye Kohl in Fascinating, $16) winging the upper and lower lines out past the outer corners of my eyes.
Step 5: For well-defined natural lashes, I applied two coats of L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Mascara, $8.99.
Step 6: To finish the look, I slicked on L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Glossy Balm in Ginger Candy, $7.99
