Sleep- and shower-deprived ladies … this one’s for you. If you’re looking for a way to stretch the length between shampoos, the hairstyle seen at the Tracy Reese Spring/Summer 2015 New York Fashion Week show is for you. I absolutely love runway hairstyles in general because so many of them are done in about the time we spend on our own hair at home — a few minutes. The difference is that these are cooked up by the creators of cool. I can’t wait to wear this ballerina-inspired look created by master stylist Bok-Hee using the Scunci x Tracy Reese ready-to-wear collection. The collection, unfortunately, won’t be available until 2015, but you probably have some headbands laying around at home that will give you a similar effect. I did. Here’s how to get the look in seconds:

Step 1: Part your hair down the middle.

Step 2: Spritz hair with a texturizing spray (try Redken Quick Tease 15 Backcombing Finishing Spray). Backcomb the hair at the back of your crown to add volume.

Step 3: Rake your hair back into a ponytail and secure with an elastic.

Step 4: Slide on two headbands of different widths, colors and/or textures. Catch your ponytail in the headbands to create a ponytail pouf. I used Scunci No Slip Grip Headbands, $3.11 and an Ann Vuille headband that I’ve had for about 11 years.

That’s seriously it!
