Beauty Problem Solver of the Week: Mario Badescu Enzyme Revitalizing Mask

Exfoliation always seems to be my answer to skin problems. In the summer when sunscreen, sweat and makeup leaves my skin feeling greasy and my pores clogged? Exfoliate. In the winter when my skin is dry and peeling? Exfoliate. I might be biased towards this fix since I discovered Mario Badescu’s Enzyme Revitalizing Mask, $20, last year. The thick, super-moisturizing alpha hydroxy mask has papaya and grapefruit extracts to exfoliate and antioxidant vitamin A and E oils to nourish and refresh dull skin. I love how it doesn’t burn or feel too tight, but you can feel it working. When the 15 or 20 minutes are up, I take a wet, warm washcloth and rest it on my face for a few seconds, then wipe it all off. Every other day, it’s the perfect skin-clearing fix.
