The product: Stila Smudge Crayon, $22
Why: Not sure about you, but one of my daily goals is to get out the door sooner in the a.m. and off to work. That means cutting every corner possible to shorten my beauty routine. If you’re with me on this, you must check out my latest time-saving miracle product — this Stila eye color stick.
I’ve been using it in a neutral, shimmery nude shade called Antique and I can literally scribble it onto my lids in seconds. It doesn’t require more than just a quick blend with my fingertips along the outermost edges to soften the finish and it lasts all day. It also doesn’t feel sticky on my lids like some cream products do, and the shimmer doesn’t irritate my contact lens-wearing eyeballs. It’s waterproof (though I haven’t tested this claim just yet) and is essentially a shadow, liner and primer in one. It even has a handy sharpener hidden in the bottom of the stick, which you can use to form a finer tip. It won’t create a super fine line, but will give you more of an eyeliner look. It comes in eight shades that range from black and navy to champagne and taupe. I think I need them all.
