The product: Margaret Dabbs Intensive Foot Treatment Oil, $33
Why: Because I’m a constant toe polish wearer, my nails underneath my lacquer have lots of dehydration spots. Well, they did anyway. After having the spots buffed mostly off, I started using this dry foot oil that contains organic emu oil (known for its healing, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties) along with other natural ingredients regularly. And, to my surprise the spots stayed away and the ones that were still visible totally faded. I would spray the oil on my feet and nails nightly during a month-long hiatus from wearing polish. Though it was hard to avoid having color on my toes, it was so worth it. My nails look like new. And, what’s great about this “dry” oil is that it absorbs so quickly that you won’t find yourself slipping and sliding across the floor after applying it. A bonus indeed.
