The product: Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, $49.50
Why: I’m a huge fan of Kiehl’s, well, everything — I kind of chose my gym based on the fact that they have Kiehl’s products in the shower. But this time they really outdid themselves. From the combination of their herbal history and high-tech innovations, Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution was born. With high concentrations of traditionally unstable vitamin C via Activated C, this serum is in the business of bringing brightness to your face by preventing melanin clusters, decreasing melanin formation, deterring transfer of melanin to the skin’s surface and breaking up already existing melanin clusters. Phew. In other words: it fades existing dark spots and prevents new ones from forming all while giving your skin a bright glow. Sold. I’ve only used it for a few days, so the jury is still out on whether the miracle serum actually delivers on every claim, but with my love for all things Kiehl’s, I have high hopes.
